Scheduling Exams/Quizzes

Exam/Quiz requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the exam date.  Saturday and Sunday are not business days.  As a helpful way to remember when to submit requests, use the following:

  • If your exam is on Monday, your request is due by 11:55 p.m. on the Wednesday before the exam.
  • If your exam is on Tuesday, your request is due by 11:55 p.m. on the Thursday before the exam.
  • If your exam is on Wednesday, your request is due by 11:55 p.m. on the Friday before the exam.
  • If your exam is on Thursday, your request is due by 11:55 p.m. on the Monday before the exam.
  • If your exam is on Friday, your request is due by 11:55 p.m. on the Tuesday before the exam.

Final Exam Deadline

The deadline to submit requests for final exams is typically 4 weeks before final exam week. Each semester, you will receive notification via your ISU email of the deadline to schedule your final exams. Late requests are not accepted for final exams. Please make sure you are checking your ISU email consistently.
